Alpine CDA-9884R CD MP3 Car Stereo The Alpine CDA-9884R CD player offers the best of all worlds. If the majority of your music is stored as MP3 files on CD-R/RW or USB drive, the CDA-9884R will play them. If they are WMA or AAC files, the CDA-9884R will handle them as well. What to do if you keep your music as digital files on an iPod? With an optional cable the CDA-9884R will not only play them, it will operate the iPod through its controls. The high speed connection and Alpine's unique Percentage Search feature lets you jump through your playlist quickly, so you can easily find the song you want. The CDA-9884R also has 4-volt preamp outputs for front, rear, and subwoofer channels for connecting external amplifiers.
