With Crunch USA's speaker engineering dating back to days of the first pre-built truck-box style subwoofer systems, today's GTR subwoofers offer bass performance at DEF Con1-plus levels. Now that is a level defying real classification. GTR Series subwoofers take more abuse, lots of heat, and more power. GTR's use the same high-temperature VC wire used in the premium Ground Pounder Series.

A high excursion butyl rubber surround attaches the 100oz motor to the GTR's IM cone. This poly-mica damped cone defies death with its high-temperature voice-coils mated to a one-piece spider assembly. This spider assembly sports an integrated tinsel lead assembly that combats the most common form of subwoofer failure ……tinsel-lead breakage. Check out the GTR Subwoofer tinsels leads but watch out for the blinding gleam of light coming off the chrome speaker baskets. These abuse-combating tinsel- leads are woven through the gathered spider suspension material. Spring-loaded push terminals finish the GTR subwoofer series picture.

The GTR Series subs work in free-air applications but check out our designs for sealed or vented enclosures. Vented enclosures offer the users to get higher SPL's when these ported designs are used. In addition, dual-voice coil GTR subwoofers increase the enclosure design possibilities. Including the single VC GTR, five subwoofer models are available in a 10-inch or 12-inch version that is just right for you. With the Crunch GTR Series subwoofers, you get the most BOOM for your buck.
