DVB Car Audio Terms and Conditions of Sale
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions that take place on the DVB Car Audio website. The use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 16 years of age and accept delivery within the UK. Photographic ID must be available to show the courier. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
DVB Car Audio offers a limited price promise or price match on selected products only. Please contact DVB Car Audio for more details.
Accuracy of Product Information
All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturers, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. Our intention is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, DVB Car Audio cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. As previously stated should the price change or be incorrect the contract is void and must be restarted by you the consumer. All prices on our website exclude of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order. Our current delivery charge is displayed on our website. We are not VAT registered.
Typographical Errors When Things go wrong with your delivery
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).
We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch and American Express (Amex). On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number - the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your order will only be processed once authorisation of your credit card has been properly received. You may also pay by cheque or postal order although we cannot dispatch the goods until payment has been cleared which can take at least 5 days.
Availability of Goods
All of DVB Car Audio's products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. We will refund your card if it has been charged. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges which will be added to the price of the products at our checkout. Delivery prices are for GB Mainland and additional costs may apply to orders despatched to Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles where the may also be a slight delivery delay. AM/PM and Saturday deliveries are optional and will also incur additional charges. These can be obtained upon application.
Delivery (stock items) will normally be made within 1 working day from clearance of payment. Non stock items will be despatch once available. We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If our suppliers or we are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 14 days for dispatch of the goods. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.
DVB Car Audio acknowledge that things can get lost or damaged in transit and the following information clarifys both your position and our position. We never knowingly ship damaged goods and therefore it is likely that we may be able to recover our costs from the courier. If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that we may be able to make a claim against our couriers insurance company. If you receive a parcel that is damaged or looks damaged, please note this fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the courier, you need to make sure that you sign for the package noting “Damaged package; goods not yet inspected” or equivelant to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming. Please note that if the above is not noted on the parcel / package then we are unable to accept responsibility for damaged goods as damage could have been caused after delivery.
Please contact us via email or telephone with as much detail of the damage or loss as possible, as soon after delivery as possible, so that we can arrange replacement goods and start following up with our courier.
All products supplied by DVB Car Audio are covered by the terms and conditions of the Manufacturers Guarantee for a period of 12 months. Your goods will be repaired by us and should the product develop a manufacturers fault within twelve months of your date of purchase. This guarantee specifically excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance. THE FULL COST OF THE SERVICE CALL WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT IF WE FIND NO FAULT WITH YOUR PRODUCT (charged at £40.00 this excludes return shipping). Should your product develop a fault within a first seven days of purchase you many return your goods for a full refund providing you return the unit in the same condition as supplied. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have.
If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel, (with the exception of consumables, special orders and bespoke Car Audio Systems) your order within 7 working days from date of delivery for full credit or refund less any applicable delivery charges. It is your responsibility to return any such items in a pristine saleable condition in their original box and packaging. You will be wholly responsible for the return of the goods and any associated costs of return. Goods received back incomplete, damaged or in any condition other than saleable, will be returned to you and the cost of return carriage charged to your account. Prior to returning any products, please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you do not return goods within 7 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your order, your right to cancel will be revoked. The cancellation must be put into writing and received within the 7-day period. Please contact DVB Car Audio with any queries. Items which have free delivery which are returned will have a deduction in relation to a reasonable postage cost before any refunds are processed. Returns must be agreed by DVB Audio and a Returns number must be received before products are returned. Please note that delivery charges are not refunded and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that all items returned are done so on a signed for service.
If you return your goods and they are not in a pristine saleable condition, DVB Audio Limited will contact the customer who will be given a choice of a refund less a restocking charge (contact DVB Car Audio for rates) or having the item returned to customer with the return carriage being charged at £ 9.95.
You will own the goods once we have received your payment in full. We do not offer any credit facilities at the moment. We will issue you with an electronic invoice once we have dispatched the goods to you only by request. Failure by us to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
Offers on this website are exclusive to this website only and may not be available in store or shows and shipping is excluded. Collection of goods may also carry an additional charge.
