Kenwood's KDV-5234 DVD/CD player forms an excellent foundation for any budding mobile video system. It plays a variety of formats, houses a built-in amplifier that'll make your music sound great, includes an excellent RDS AM/FM tuner, and offers plenty of connections for expanding your system. To take advantage of DVD video playback, you'll need to connect an external monitor to the video output. The KDV-5234 will also play your standard CDs, plus the MP3 and WMA files you've burned on disc. You can connect your iPod™ to the player with Kenwood's optional control interface. You'll be able to control the iPod using the player, as well as recharge the iPod's battery.
